Our Jewellery Club, led by Mrs Bibi one of our parents,
currently meets after school on Thursdays. The results so far look remarkable and have been
modelled by Saarah, Muteh, Hassana and
Loujyne. We wonder if you can
identify the one made from coloured straws!!!!

Friends of Bordesley Green School Table Top Sale
School opened on a Saturday morning especially for the first ever Friends of Bordesley Green Table Top Sale. We had a huge variety of different stalls selling everything from second hand toys to personally hand crafted gifts. We had lots of customers and managed to raise lots of money for the school fund. The school would like to say a big thank you to the parents who helped to organise the event, everyone who set up a stall as well as everyone who came along to make the day a huge success.

Year 4 Visiting Artist
As part of our new Theme topic, we had have had the
opportunity to do some block printing!
An artist visited our school and worked with each of the Year 4 classes
to produce a whole class piece of work.
The patterns are traditional patterns used in Indian artwork, such as
peacocks, paisleys, circles and stars. This is the work in progress and the
finished product!

Easter competitions
This year we had an Easter bonnet competition for the children in Foundation stage and KS1 and an egg decorating competition for the KS2 pupils. Each child had to design and make their bnonnet or egg at home and bring them into school to be judged. Below are a sample of some of the amazing entries.

Mrs Arabella story teller
We are very
lucky to have Mrs Arabella in school working with parents and children in the
Foundation Stage. She will be with us for two days in March.
This is an exciting opportunity for
parents and children to work together in school and promote a love of reading
and sharing stories.
Visit the site below to see Mrs
Arabella and the parents and children in action.
